Born, raised, and based in New York, Kate Keller’s rich and soulful voice can be heard throughout the New York metro area and beyond.
Keller has long been likened to some of the most legendary vocalists of our time, from Amy Winehouse to Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks. Her radiant vocals are like being wrapped in a warm, sonic embrace, with a unique resonance you are unlikely to hear anywhere else.
With roots in classical music and jazz, the indie-pop artist draws inspiration from a wide range of genres spanning not just decades, but centuries of exceptional music-making. A classically trained vocalist and pianist, her musicianship certainly matches the depth and maturity of her songwriting and instrumentation. Keller’s extensive training is tangible in her music, with crystal-clear vocals that are sure to deliver stunning performances which permeate the soul and leave you awe-struck.
Though a life-long performing musician, Keller’s delve into songwriting is more recent, with her first-ever track ‘ghosts’ having been written in the Fall of 2021 and released in January of 2022. Across all songs, her lyrics are sensory-driven and visceral, bringing you directly into the moment with her. Taking a page from iconic songwriters such as Joni Mitchell, Keller invites the listener on a journey through her lived experiences, making you feel as though you are an active part of the storytelling. Keller is not just an astute singer-songwriter – she is also the sole arranger and producer on her upcoming tracks, having composed and played each instrumental line herself. Her first experience with self-producing her latest single moonlight was met with high praise:

With three tracks out and many more in the making, Keller is beginning to hit her stride. The release of her upcoming synth/art-pop single is anticipated for winter 2022, taking from the pages of the renowned and highly influential Brian Wilson and Bruce Springsteen.
